Several keys have special meanings in the software. A short description of their functions follows:

  • Left Mouse Button

    Selects an item/field. Double click to open the item/field. Double clicking on a field opens the field parameter dialog. Hold the control key to select multiple items/fields.

  • Right Mouse Button

    Opens a context menu for the clicked item.

  • F2

    Displays the Print Queue screen.

  • F3

    Displays the WIBU-KEY Control Panel.

  • F4

    Opens the Windows Character Map.

  • CTRL + Z

    Undo the most recent editing or formatting action.

  • CTRL + Y

    Redo the most recent undone change.

  • CTRL + ENTER

    Inserts a new line.

  • ESC

    Cancel or end the current operation.

  • ARROW Keys

    Moves the cursor/selection/field(s). Hold shift to move faster.

  • TAB

    Moves between items in dialogs. Hold shift to move backwards. Hold control to move to the next dialog tab.

  • ENTER

    Confirm, begin, advance or complete an operation. Hold control to select a field.

  • PgUp/PgDn

    Scrolls up or down by the size of the window. Hold shift to scroll left or right.

  • HOME/END

    Move the cursor/field to the upper left or bottom right.

  • H/V/C

    While moving a field press one of the keys to center the field horizontally, vertically or both. The key used to center varies by language.

  • ALT + letter

    Access a menu, ribbon or dialog item by its assigned letter. Menu and dialog items can be reached by entering the underlined letter. The assigned letters for ribbon items are shown after pressing alt. If a letter is used more than once, press ALT + the letter again to get to the correct screen item.

  • Delete

    Deletes the selected field/item

  • CTRL + X or Shift + Delete

    Cut the item. Deletes the selected field/item and add it to the clipboard.

  • CTRL + V or Shift + Insert

    Paste the item. Copies the item in the clipboard into the current window.

  • CTRL + C or CTRL + Insert

    Copy the item. Adds a copy of the selected field/item to the clipboard.

  • CTRL + A

    Select all fields/items.

  • CTRL + +

    Zoom the label window in.

  • CTRL + -

    Zoom the label window out.

  • CTRL + 0

    Zoom the label window to fit.

  • Scroll wheel

    Scroll the window up or down.

  • Shift + Scroll wheel

    Scroll the window up or down faster.

  • Control + Scroll wheel

    Zoom the label window in or out.
