Sato driver can use USB/Parallel converter cable
Changed to Sato printer driver to allow for the use of the USB/Parallel converter cables.
Tharo H and V series
Fixed problem of variable length barcodes not have the correct justification when the justification was not left aligned and the barcode width was shorter than the designed size. Fixed problem with Code 128 function codes not being sent correctly when a format was downloaded to printer memory. Fixed a problem with label height command sometimes causing labels to be skipped. Fixed problem of using a variable number of days to offset a date field and downloading format to printer memory.
“No special formatting” option
Fixed a problem where the “No special formatting” option for a field would not appear in some cases where it should have appeared.
Intermec barcode justification
Fixed problem where barcodes where not justified correctly in some field orientations.
Zebra “cut by label count”
Added support for cutting by label count. User can choose the number of labels before each cut operation. Also fixed a problem with media type command (continuous, gap, black mark) not being sent correctly.
UCC SSCC-18/SCC-14
Corrected a problem with the UCC SSCC-18/SCC-14 barcode where if an insufficient number of digits were entered may cause a program crash.
Zebra RFID
Changed Zebra RFID commands for the R110 PAX series printers to use the newer tag read/write commands.
Using Windows print spooler
In some cases it may be desirable to use the Windows print spooler to communicate with a given printer if problems are encountered using the normal drivers. Added a new option to allow the user to choose between network printer or local port when configuring a “network” printer. If a local port is chosen then the software will automatically create a Windows “Generic Text only” printer to manage the port.
Using Time in an Arithmetic field
When using an Arithmetic field that references a Time field, the time would be returned in 12 hour format instead of 24 hour format which was done previously. This has been fixed to match previous versions of the software.
LogReader Application
Made several fixes and cosmetic improvements to the LogReader application. Selecting an item in the list to view the detail for that item sometimes displayed an error message “Seek error”, this has been corrected. In some cases not all items were shown on the printed reports, this has also been corrected. Made several improvements to the look of both the screen display and the printed reports.
Database connectivity
Made several improvements to the database connectivity to resolve problems connecting to some Oracle and Progress databases. Changed to use fully qualified table names for databases that support this option.
