Important Note: As of Version 5.7.0 EASYLABEL will only install on Windows 2000 or higher. Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME and Windows NT are no longer supported. EASYLABEL 5.6 should be used on Windows 98, Windows ME and Windows NT. Windows 95 is not supported.
Important Note: If you used Visual Studio 2003 to compile a project using EASYLABEL’s ActiveX objects with version 1.1 of the .NET framework, you may experience a crash when you run your project after upgrading to EASYLABEL 5.7.0 This is because the project tries to load .NET framework version 1.1 and then tries to load .NET framework version 2. This loading of the second .NET framework fails and that causes the crash. To correct this, compile your project using Visual Studio 2005. If this is not possible you can correct the problem if you un-install version 1.1 of the .NET framework.
The following changes/additions have been made:
EASYLABEL release 5.7 is one combined program for Silver, Gold, Platinum and Terminal Server.
The level of the WIBU-Key that is plugged into the system determines the version of EASYLABEL that loads. If you have a Gold Key, EASYLABEL will load as Gold. If you have a Platinum Key, it will load as Platinum, etc.
TEC 416 Color Printer
The TEC 416 Color Printer did not print colored shapes (lines, boxes etc.) correctly. This has been fixed.
Datamax printers
Fixed problem where a barcode that has incrementing data and a header would be sent to the printer one at a time instead of incrementing in the printer. Also fixed problem where the bar width multiplier prompt appeared for Maxicode symbols.
Intermec USB
Added support for using USB ports with Intermec printers.
Aztec/Mesa 2D Symbols
Added support for Aztec and Aztec/Mesa symbols. The following new symbols are supported: Aztec, Aztec Mesa UPC-A, Aztec Mesa EAN-13, Aztec Mesa Interleaved 2/5, Aztec Mesa Code 128, Aztec Mesa Code 39, and Aztec Mesa Code 93.
Printronix USB
Added support for using USB ports with Printronix printers.
