Extract Data

1. Sample Message

   This box contains a sample of the data that LabelCom may receive from the data source. The data may be entered manually but it is recommended to use the “Get Sample” button instead.

2. Extract Data

   This box is used to define how data is extracted from the sample message. Any data in between square brackets [ and ] is extracted. Except for the square brackets, the data in this box must match the data in “Sample Message”. It is recommended to use the “Get Sample” button to fill this box and then manually insert square brackets around the data to be extracted.

3. Get Sample

   Clicking this button gets a sample message from the configured data source and replaces both “Sample Message” and “Extract Data” with the new sample message.

4. OK

   Keep the changes and close this dialog

5. Cancel

   Discard any changes and go back to the previous screen.
